What are LED Lash Extensions?
LED Lashes use a specifically formulated adhesive (very low cyanoacrylates that emit less fumes) and cure instantly under a soft LED/UV light. This creates a very strong bond that can last up to 4-6 weeks rather than 2-3 weeks with traditional lash extensions.
Are LED Lashes safe?
Yes – the LED system uses a gentle, low level light (not like tanning beds or medical lasers). The adhesive cures instantly, reducing fumes and lowering the chance or irritation or sensitivity. We also use protective eye-pads made specifically for the LED Lash service that protects the eye even though it’s closed.
Do LED Lashes last longer?
Absolutely! Most clients see better retention, less shedding, longer times between fills, less irritation.
Can I get LED Lashes even though I already have traditional lashes on?
Yes! We can do an LED Lash fill even though you already have traditional lashes applied. We just incorporate the new LED Lashes in with your traditional lashes until all the old lashes either fall off, or we remove them in your fills. You will immediately notice better retention after your first LED Fill.
Do they feel different than regular lash extensions?
No – the extensions feel the same, but they last longer and shed less. They also don’t burn at all after your full set, or fill is done and you open your eyes.
Can I get LED Lashes if I have oily skin or watery eyes?
Absolutely, actually LED adhesive performs better in humidity, on oily skin types, and on those with active lifestyles.
Are LED Lashes good for sensitive eyes?
Yes – since the glue cures immediately, there are fewer fumes and less exposure time, which greatly reduces irritation.
